2 Virgil Photos (lot 5)
Virgil was the last of the great touring illusionists having completed his 5-year world tour during the 1950s. He was very much a part of the Sawing in Half story and both of these images appear in my history of Sawing A Lady in Half. Two vintage 8 by 10 inch photos show Julie in the Buzz Saw and Virgil’s version of Selbit’s Sawing Through A Woman. Nice condition.
