This box was made by a very skilled but unknown craftsman. Includes two locking load compartments, one in the front side and one in the back. The beautiful images that decorate all four sides are not decals but are hand-painted Japanese scenes. Box measures 12 inches long, 6.5 inches high, and 7.5 inches wide. Shows some wear but overall, a fine looking piece of antique magic.
